New Feature: Kling Image and Video Models Have Arrived on Pencil
The Kling Image & Video Models (including the Kling v3 and Kling v3 Omni) are now live in the Pencil platform for everyone. This release officially unblocks the Kellogg’s pilot. Because Kling is a China-headquartered AI model, we’ve built this release with a strict, enterprise-grade compliance flow. Workspace Admins can now opt in to these models while ensuring Pencil and our clients are legally protected. What you need to know:
Compliance Guardrails: Admins must explicitly accept a legal disclaimer regarding Chinese data laws, confirm that no personal data is input, and obtain end-client approval before the models are enabled.
Audit Ready: Every acceptance is logged in our backend (User ID, Workspace, Model, Timestamp) to prove explicit consent.
Seamless End-User Experience: Once the Admin accepts the terms, standard users can select and use the Kling models in the generation UI with zero friction or popups.
How to do it:
Ensure you have Workspace Admin access. Head to Settings > AI Governance.
- 1. Find the Kling models in Image and Video Models list (defaulted to Off).
- 2. Checkbox Kling model and click apply to view the Legal Disclaimer modal.
- 3. Click “I Agree”, and then navigate to the Image/Video generation UI to see the model available in your dropdown.
