The new Ad Intelligence Agent â powered by Foreplay.co â is now live in Pencil for everyone, bringing live competitor ad data directly into your workflow. No more manual screenshotting, tab-switching, or uploading. Just instant, data-backed creative direction.
What It Does
The agent queries Foreplay's database to surface high-performing competitor ads across Meta, TikTok, and more â searchable by brand, keyword, or niche. From there, it automatically deconstructs competitor strategy into three actionable pillars: Pricing & Offers, Ad Formats, and Messaging Themes.
The real power comes in the gap analysis. After summarizing a competitor, the agent prompts you to upload your own creative for a side-by-side comparison â surfacing exactly what your ads are missing (e.g., "Your ads lack the urgency-driven CTAs your competitor uses across 80% of their creatives"). You also get raw URLs to original ad assets for easy sharing and reference.
Getting Started
Admins can enable the Foreplay integration via Settings > Integrations > Third Party Data Sources. Accept the terms, enable the tool, then head to the Agents tab and open the Ad Intelligence Agent.
