We've rolled out two major platform updates designed to eliminate compliance guesswork and make content tracking effortless. Here is a breakdown of what's new.
1. Asset Lineage System
We've introduced automatic, variation-level mapping to track the dynamic relationship between raw sources and final creatives.
Complete Traceability: You can now trace a final ad back to its source, or view every piece of content built from a specific raw asset.
Full Design Scanning: The system automatically maps usage across images, videos, graphics, and audio tracks.
Audit-Ready: This provenance data allows legal and brand teams to instantly answer "Where did this come from?" with full confidence.
2. Asset Expiry Management
We are introducing multi-stage guardrails to ensure licensed assets are never used past their expiration dates.
Smart Automation: The system captures expiry dates directly from integrated DAMs, including AEM, Bynder, Orange Logic, TAB, and Diageo.
Earliest Date Rule and Propagation: When using multiple sources, the system applies the earliest expiry date to the final output, and that deadline automatically propagates to any templates or remixes created from it.
Visual Cues and Protection: New Warning and Expired icons now appear on asset thumbnails. The system automatically blocks the use of expired files during both selection and workflow execution.
What to do next: Teams can configure these new rules by visiting the Asset Expiry settings tab in Workspace Settings.
