Single and multi edit modes, with three sync modes
Decide where an edit lands before you make it: This format, or every format in scope, and how it scales when it gets there.
What's new
On a multi-format canvas every edit used to be a question: Did I mean this size or all of them?
Now the mode is on the toolbar and always visible. In multi edit, moves, resizes and style changes propagate to every format in scope. In single edit, the change stays on the format in front of you.
Three sync modes
• No Sync: the edit affects the selected format only.
• Proportional: the change scales with each format, so a 12px blur set on a 1080 square becomes 24px on a 2160.
• Exact Pixels: the same pixel value lands on every format.
Choose what and where
Per format, "Propagate changes to other formats" lets you pick the target formats, or target an aspect ratio group (Landscape, Portrait, Square). Choose what travels: everything, layout and position only, style only, or animations and keyframes only. Locked and approved formats are never touched.
A few things to know
• Propagation needs the same layer to exist on the target format. A layer added with sync off exists on that format only.
• A format can be locked from the format list; locked formats stay out of every propagation.
