Now, any workspace can switch on Scribble, Pencil's AI creative assistant.
The problem
Pencil has a deep catalogue: agents, workflows, brand libraries, assets, insights. Using it well means knowing which combination of tools fits the job, expertise most creative teams don't have and shouldn't need. Through research, we found that the vast majority of brief volume sits in three task types: resizes, templated builds, and adaptations. Those tasks are often slower in Pencil today than doing them the traditional way. The gap between "here's what I need" and "here's the right combination of tools" has been the bottleneck.
The solution
Scribble closes that gap. Describe the job in everyday language, for example "resize these masters for the July placements" or "remix this film for social," and Scribble works out which agents and skills to use, shows you its plan, and gets to work once you approve. You keep working while it runs, and you see everything it does along the way.

Fairer pricing, built for Scribble
A single per-message rate no longer describes what Scribble does, so agentic and text work is now priced by how much work is actually done. Each turn lands in one of seven size buckets (XS to XXXL) based on the model calls it made and the tokens it processed, at a rate set by the model you choose. A quick copy tweak costs a fraction of a generation; a full campaign brief is priced for what it actually involves. Alongside that: a lot more models to choose from (including several near-frontier options at a fraction of the cost), more granular per-model rates, no charge for failed generations, and per-turn cost visible in the cost menu on every Scribble turn and workflow step. Your existing agents:
When you enable the beta, your workspace's current agents will be migrated into the new agents and skills model, so Scribble can use them from day one. Nothing is lost, and workspace admins can review how everything was mapped after enabling. How it works:
- An admin enables Scribble under the Beta section of the Governance page. Everyone in the workspace gets access.
- Type a request on the homepage, or upload a brief (PDF, Word, PPTX). Scribble summarizes it back before doing anything.
- Review the plan, approve, and carry on. Come back to the conversation when work is ready.
