CMYK Color Preview in Print Mode
What's new Until now, the canvas always showed RGB colors. A CMYK print export could look very different from what you saw while designing, and you only found out after exporting. Now, when print mode is on, the color mode is CMYK and a color profile is selected, the canvas simulates how the artwork will look in print using that profile. Turn it on Open a work in print mode, set the color mode to CMYK and select a color profile. The canvas updates straight away. Switching color mode or profile doesn't reload the canvas. What is and isn't previewed Only your artwork is previewed in print colours. The editor itself, including the paper, labels and selection, keeps its true colors, and exports are unchanged. A few things to know
  • The preview is close to the printed result, not exact. The export converts colors with a different engine from the one used for the preview.
  • Turning print mode on or off still reloads the canvas briefly.
