Overview
The Pencil platform now supports Bulk QC Scoring directly from the Work view. Instead of scoring creative assets one by one, users can select multiple work items and trigger the QC Agent (Jellyfish) in a single action. This significantly reduces the time and effort required to validate large batches of creatives.
This initial release focuses exclusively on QC Agent and Brainsuite scores. Other scores are not yet supported in bulk and will be added in future iterations.
Who it’s for
- Creative Strategists and Media Buyers managing high-volume campaigns
- Ad Ops managers performing QA before activation
- Available in workspaces where the QC Agent is enabled (typically Pro or Enterprise plans)
How it works
- Bulk scoring is launched from the Bulk Actions bar in the Work table
- Users can only score unscored assets
- Assets that are already generating media or calculating a score are automatically skipped
- The Scores column updates immediately with loading, success, or error states as results return
Key details and limitations
- Bulk scoring is limited to the QC Agent (Jellyfish) and brainsuite in this release
- Currently available for only multiple assets of the same media type.
- No changes were made to the underlying QC agent scores or Brainsuite score.
- Pending or already scored assets are never re-submitted
- Clear error messaging indicates when scoring fails or is unavailable.
