Pencil in Practice: Dioptasè — The Devil's in the Detail

A single facet out of place. A prong that doesn't quite hold. In jewellery, believability lives or dies at macro level, and Dioptasè's green crystal and silver leave nowhere to hide.
In this live walkthrough, Vanessa takes Dioptasè as the creative territory and works at the level where quiet luxury is won: the millimetres. Fine detail briefing, close-up edits, and keeping an entire collection speaking the same hushed language.
You'll learn how to:
  1. Brief for macro-level detail so facets, settings and metalwork render accurately
  1. Edit a generated image to fix the small flaws that break believability in jewellery
  1. Keep a quiet luxury aesthetic consistent across a full collection
  1. Judge when a detail needs a re-run and when a quick edit will do
That's all.
