We’ve streamlined our post-generation tools and completely overhauled AI Expand for a smoother, more intuitive editing experience.
AI Expand
We have made it easier to select a custom aspect ratio in the Ai Expand tool - as well as any of the existing preselected Aspect Ratios & sizes.
Your choices of resolution and number of generations now persist when switching between models.
We’ve updated the AI expand & Format behaviour. So, if you have only one layer in the creative the format will snap to the size of the image after it has been expanded. However, if there is more than one layer in the creative, then the format will not change dimension and you may need to adjust the layer to fit inside the canvas.
We have updated the ui on Generating & Completed states to make your progress more obvious. The Generating/Completed chip should keep you informed of the status of the Generation whilst it is loading, and the pop up confirmation makes it simpler to access the AI Expand results if you are elsewhere in the project - for example a different timestamp whilst working on a video.
Multiple Brush Applications
Any AI tool that requires a brush now allows for multiple brush applications on the canvas. That applies to both AI Fill and AI Erase.
Image Erase with Prompt Input
Image Erase now includes a prompt field, allowing for more precise control in removing content.
Post-Gen Tool Compatibility with Product Image Types
All image types now work with post-generation tools such as fullbleed and product. However, if you’re working with a png with a transparent background - this may cause a black background with some tools. If so, please just use the remove background tool to remove this artefact.
